Egress Backbone Transport

Contact works very closely with our ISP Partners to monitor Egress Backbone Transport utilization to ensure adequate capacity exists between Contact and the ISP to sufficiently handle traffic.

Our Egress Backbone Transport product pertains to the network infrastructure and routing required to deliver ICD traffic to our ISP Partners. The end-user is authenticated by our ISP Partner and establishes a PPP connection, the end-users traffic is routed from the ISP's ICD ports through the Egress Backbone Transport to the ISP to allow the ISP to route their end-user to the appropriate destination.

Contact offers multiple Egress Backbone Transport options. These include: Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, T-1 and T-3.
