Lawrence M. Benson, President & COO - Mitch Benson joined Contact Communications as President and COO in January, 2013 with the responsibility of providing the management and leadership to ensure Contact Communications organization, products and services continue to move into the future for the Company’s employees and customers.
Prior to accepting the position of President and COO for Contact Communications, he was the Project Manager for Cerento, a position he held for 5 years before being named as the President and COO at Cerento in January, 2011. Mr. Benson brings 28 years of project management and leadership experience through his past employment with Peter Kiewit & Sons, where he was responsible for various engineering / construction projects throughout the United States such as Tenaska Power Plant, Level 3 Communications and Kiewit Offshore Fabrication Facility. Mr. Benson earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston.
Mr. Benson was born and raised in Riverton, WY and chose to move back to Riverton in January, 2006. He makes his home in rural Fremont County, WY with his wife and daughter.
Chris Robisch, Director of Business Development & Public Policy - Chris Robisch became Director of Business Development & Public Policy for Contact in June of 2007. Mr. Robisch originally joined the Company in July, 2000 and is responsible for the Company’s regulatory affairs, legislative affairs, marketing and communications to the public.
Mr. Robisch brings more than 13 years experience in the telecommunications industry that includes carrier relations, regulatory analysis, legislative affairs and business development for Contact Communications and its commonly-owned ISP, Wyoming.com. He previously held positions with Acco Brands (formerly GBC) and Dun & Bradstreet, Inc. involving receivable management, finance, and reengineering of financial operations. Mr. Robisch attended Loyola University and DePaul University in Chicago, IL.
Mr. Robisch relocated from Chicago to Lander, WY in 1999, and enjoys the numerous recreational backcountry opportunities that Wyoming provides with his fiancé Sherri.
